Joining starts with a free artist application. Paint&Life reviews the submission, contacts selected artists, and sends approved artists a private portal invitation.

• Application is free; submission does not automatically guarantee acceptance or representation.
• Use your invitation to set a password and complete your public profile.
• Begin with an artwork submission, print option, consignment opportunity, or Creative Service request.

Offer prints when the timing is right.

You may also upload a print-only source. Paint&Life reviews image quality, material, size, production cost, and final store pricing before publication.

Most artworks currently shown on the Paint&Life site are eligible for a print option.

Originals can now be represented and sold.

Original artwork offered through Paint&Life requires a consignment agreement. The agreement documents the work, asking price, commission, location, term, and responsibilities before the artwork is offered for sale.

Request printing and artwork photography.

Use Creative Services for custom fine-art printing or professional artwork photography. Submit specifications and files, review estimates and invoices, approve proofs, request revisions, and download receipts after payment.

A sustainable portfolio structure.

Artists can begin with up to 50 combined artwork and print-product records at no recurring cost. Larger portfolios can choose a paid plan. This keeps the entry point accessible while supporting the review time, image storage, product work, and long-term records required by growing portfolios.

A print edition counts as one product regardless of the number of physical copies produced.

A simpler, artist-forward split.

Paint&Life is moving from individually configured product margins to a consistent split. For standard represented sales, the artist share is fixed at 70% and Paint&Life's commission is 30%.

The applicable agreement and statement remain the final record for each transaction.

Keep information current and conversations together.

• Statements: review sales, rental income, payments, and adjustments.
• My Profile: update your portrait, biography, website, Instagram, Facebook, and other links. Approved public details flow directly to your artist page.
• Messages: communicate with Paint&Life about reviews, services, agreements, and account questions.

Clear expectations protect the artist and the work.

• Copyright: unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, artists retain copyright. Paint&Life uses artwork images and produces approved prints only as authorized by the applicable agreement.
• Pricing: artists may suggest pricing; Paint&Life confirms final store pricing after production, presentation, shipping, and margin review.
• Statements and payouts: sales, adjustments, artist amounts, and payment status appear in Statements. The applicable agreement controls payout timing.
• Cancellations and refunds: a cancellation, return, or refund may adjust the recorded sale and artist payout.
• Consigned artwork: location, condition, transportation, insurance, and return responsibilities are documented in the consignment agreement.
• Plan counting: one artwork record or one print edition counts as one portfolio product; physical edition copies and approved size options do not count separately.

Your signed agreement and final statement remain the controlling business records. Use Messages whenever a record or responsibility needs clarification.
